Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to provide gifts, programs, workshops, giveaways, equipment, and more for Sycamore Library.
The Friends sponsor seasonal used book sales and maintain an ongoing book sale shelf located on the first floor, offering used books, movies, audiobooks, magazines, and more for sale throughout the year.

The Friends of the Library warmly welcome new members throughout the year.
To join, attend one of our regularly scheduled meetings. The Friends of the Library generally meet at 5:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public.

Did you know our Library has a used media sales area right in the entryway? Plus, there's a Friends Book Sale closet just down the hall to the right of the main service desk!
The inventory is refreshed three times a week and is accessible during Library hours. Stop by and check it out!
