I-Cash: Unclaimed Money with Bonnie Jefferson

Meet with Bonnie Jefferson from the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office to find out. 1 in 4 Illinois adults discovers property to claim!
Drop-in Tuesday April 18th from 1-3pm in Meeting Room 1. No registration required, but you will receive a reminder for the event if you register through Eventbrite.
Through the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs, Bonnie connects Illinois residents with their unclaimed property. Unclaimed property is money or assets that have been separated from their owner for at least five years. Examples include:
- Inactive savings and checking accounts
- Unpaid wages or commissions
- Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
- Money orders and bill overpayments
- Paid-up life insurance policies
- Safe deposit box contents
