Emergency Preparedness for Families: Virtual Education plus In-Person Emergency Kit Pickup
Participate in a free Emergency Preparedness presentation provided by Melissa Edwards of DeKalb County Health Department for National Preparedness month (September).
Join us virtually via Zoom on September 21st at 6:30pm. 25 families who join the Zoom event will be able to pick up their own Emergency Preparedness kit at the library during open hours after the event. 1 kit per family. Register to receive the Zoom link and to select if you would like a free kit for your family.
After a short presentation each family can pick up their emergency preparedness kit that includes:
- Solar powered radio with flashlight
- Band-Aids
- Cleansing Wipes
- First Aid Tape
- Sting & Bite Wipes
- Exam Gloves
- Dust Masks
- Scissors
- Gauze Roll
- Instant Ice Pack
- First Aid Instructions
