Brown Bag Lunch Series: featuring Chef Jessican Pamonicutt

The partnered program between the DeKalb County History Center, Ellwood House, and Sycamore Library is made possible through funding from the Mary E. Stevens Concert and Lecture Series Grant.

Executive Chef Jessica Pamonicutt, is the owner of Ketapanen Kitchen, Chicago’s first Native American Pop-Up Kitchen and catering company. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts, Pamonicutt draws inspiration from her upbringing in a communal setting, where she learned the art of commanding a kitchen from a young age. Her culinary philosophy emphasizes the role of food in nourishing both the body and soul, imbued with prayers, good thoughts, and good feelings. Ketapanen Kitchen embodies this philosophy, with its name reflecting the Menominee word for “Love.”
