How Did We Get Here? An Interactive Exploration of Earth’s History

Bring the family and create a diarama representing an era of Earth’s history. Together we will build the geological timeline.
The Earth is very old. Super old. Ancient. 4.57 billion years is a lot to wrap your head around. This program will help put it in perspective.
Each group will create a diarama representing an eon/era/period of Earth’s geological timeline. No knowledge required – you will be given a fact sheet for the era of your choosing (first come, first serve). The completed diaramas will be placed in order and spaced according to relative time length. Finally, we will walk along the timeline through the history of life on Earth.
This is a family program. Recommended for adults with children grades 3 & up. All attendees must wear a mask.
