Watch a classic film on the second Sunday of the month. Special programs also occur

Seniors and adults of all ages can come by the Sycamore Public Library to watch a classic movie. Special programs and activities may also occur. Popcorn will be provided!

Guest Speaker Steve Darnall Presenting “Tis the Season: Holiday Traditions from Radio’s Golden Age” 2pm lecture, 3pm showing of Miracle on 34th Street

Join Steve Darnall of Nostalgia Digest for this special nostalgic program. For many people, the holidays are a time of traditions—and there were plenty of entertaining traditions during the “Golden Age” of radio, from Jack Benny’s annual shopping trips to Lionel Barrymore’s portrayal of Ebeneezer Scrooge. This presentation offers a box full of classic seasonal sounds from radio’s past, designed to spur the imagination and share a bit of Yuletide spirit.
