Print from your device

Print virtually any document or web page from your computer or device to one of our Library printers, using the Library’s convenient Web Printing Service, ePRINTit. Submit documents or photos for printing from any smartphone, tablet or laptop. Visit the print station in the library within 24 hours to release and pick up your document with your email address or username.

  • Costs for Black and White: 10¢ per side (Letter 8 ½” x 11″ and Legal 8 1/2″ x 14″), and 20¢ per side (Ledger 11″ x 17″).
  • Costs for Color: 50¢ per side (Letter 8 1/2″ x 11″ and Legal 8 1/2″ x 14″), $1.00 per side for (Ledger 11″ x 17″).

You have three options for sending a document from your own device to a library printer.

Option 1: ePRINTit webpage

You can submit multiple documents at the same time. The files will be available to print for 24 hours.

  1. Go to the ePRINTit webpage – https://tbs.eprintit.com/portal/#/ppl/upload/hcl
  2. Select the file(s) to be printed.
  3. Enter your information:
    • Your Guest Name/Card Number
    • Your email and/or cell phone number are optional; enter one or both if you want an email or text confirmation that the file was submitted.
  4. To print your document(s) at the library, enter your Guest Name/Card Number.

Option 2: Email

  1. Send the document to be printed in an email (either as an attachment or in the body of the email) to:
  2. Go to the print release station at the library to print. Enter the first part of your email address to release the print job. For example, if your address is test@gmail.com, then type in “test.”

Option 3: ePRINTit app

You can submit multiple documents at the same time. The files will be available to print for 24 hours.

  1. Install the ePRINTit ePrintit Public Print Locations app on your device:
    • Download the ePRINTit app: itunes app store  android google play store
  2. Select the file(s) to be printed.
  3. Choose the provider: TBS Public Library Printing.
  4. Select Sycamore Public Library and enter your library card number.
  5. To print your document(s) at the library, enter your library card number or scan your library card bar code at the print release station.

Computer Use

Our free usage secure computers are located on the second floor of our facility and are open to the public. We offer internet access, Microsoft Office, scanning stations, and printers. Several computers and iPad stations specifically configured for little ones are located in our Youth Services Department.


Launch Pads

Checkout our secure, pre-loaded learning tablet created just for kids! No download time. No need for Wi-Fi. Access to powerful content is simple as turning on each device — anytime, anywhere. Contact our Youth Services Department for more information.


HotSpots

Our wireless Sprint Mobile Hotspots allow you to access the internet from any Wi-Fi-capable device—smartphones, tablets, and laptops! These highly popular items are in great demand, so put yours on hold today! Contact our Customer Relations Department for more information.


Faxing

Faxing is available at the Adult Services Department. Faxes cost $1.00 per page to send and 50¢ per page to receive. For more information, contact our Adult Services Department at 815-895-2500 ext. 410. Sycamore Library’s fax number is 815-839-7270.


Copies

Printers and copiers are available for public use. Staff can help you load money onto your Sycamore Library card with cash, check, or a credit card. If you are not a Sycamore Library cardholder, we will issue you a temporary pass. Contact our Adult Services Department for more information.

Free secure WiFi is available throughout the library. Simply log on select “Sycamore Library” as your wireless connection; no password required! Contact any service department for help.
