High School Textbooks

Is your backpack too heavy at the end of the day? Would it be nice if you could leave your school books behind and still be able to get your homework done? Now you can! The High School has provided the Sycamore Public Library with one copy of each class textbook. During regular library hours anyone may come in and use these books to read the assigned chapter or answer the assigned questions. The books are for in library use only, but you are welcome to copy needed pages if you prefer to work at home.

Outreach Service

Sycamore residents who are unable to get to the library on their own may arrange to have materials delivered to and picked up from their home. This service is available on a short term or permanent basis. For more information and to find out if you are eligible, please contact Debbie Norris or Jeannie Barry at 895-2500.

Reader's Advisory

If you are sick of reading the same old thing or you finished a favorite series and don't know what to read next, the staff at the Sycamore Public Library are available to help with reading suggestions. Stop in and talk to the Staff at the Adult Services desk. The staff will spend some time getting to know your reading likes and dislikes and then will help you find some new books to read.
